Your First Visit

Your first appointment will be scheduled with one of our staff veterinarians and may take a little longer than the routine exam that you may be accustomed to.  A complete orthopedic and/or neurologic examination will be performed.  If radiographs need to be taken, we will do it at this time. Your pet may need to be placed on our stance analyzer to determine the amount and placement of weight bearing on their legs.  Measurements will be taken to determine the extent of range of motion that your pet has as well as whether or not there is significant muscle atrophy.  Based on the examination and measurements, an individualized plan will be formulated to meet your pet’s needs best.
